Bad Muslimah
So up untill very resently I have been a very bad muslimah. Actually up untill now I guess I've been a muslimah only by name if at all. I had not been observing the daily prayers and didn't even know how to recite the Fatiha. It wasn't untill I met the friends that I currently have that I knew that this means I was not really Muslim because Salah is the seperation between belief and non belief. And Alhamdulillah{Praise G-D} I'm on the right track again. But it feels like I'm on the slippery steep side of a very big hill no end in sight. But anywas I am now learning what it really is to be a muslim and I have much to learn. Insha Allah{G-D willing} I will learn it all, or as much as I can with the time that G-D{Allah} has given me. Aslamu Alaikum, When im trying to learn something its easier when i hear it rather then just reading. You could check out this site http://www.quranexplorer.com/ where you can listen to the Quran recitation and translation online in Arabic and English. I like how it highlights the part the reciter is reading as well as the English part so you know exactly what part he is reading. Also maybe you could check out a book called "Taleem-ul-Haq (Teachings of Islam)" This is the link to read online (http://www.darululoom-irving.com/taleem-ul-haq)

I am a bad Muslim.. I have become very lazy in worship, I even miss my fajar (dawn) prayer a lot. I only pray fajar when I feel like doing so. I'm trying hard to pray, but I could not overcome my weakness. My greatest weakness is Laziness. Now, I am trying hard to free myself from the chains of laziness.
I salute you because you are keen to learn more about Islam and trying to become a good Muslim. That are the good signs.
